Haryana Feb, 2015: TDI International School of Kundli started an initiative of spreading awareness against swine flu along with the children from Renu Vidya Mandir – a Non-Government Organization.
In this initiative, Mr. Alok Edward, Principal TDI International directed the staff members to maintain hygienic surroundings by ensuring that all students wear masks and wash their hands frequently. Mr. Edward said that “we are encouraging all the kids to wear masks, and use sanitizers and tissues to maintain a good health. Any student or staff member having cold is asked to take proper rest, considering the possibility of swine flu. We are also conducting regular assembly sessions to make students aware about the precautions that must be taken to avoid swine flu virus”.
This swine flu program revolved around the topics of cleanliness and hygiene. The school also supported Clean India Mission by inculcating the spirit of hygiene, sanitation and aversion to unhygienic conditions in all children. Students and teachers also prepared charts and projects to portray the causes of swine flu and major precautions to fight against this hazardous virus. The program ended on a great note wherein the principal gave swine flu masks to all the participants.
